On-Site Cardiology Testing

Convenient on-site cardiac testing including EKGs and cardiovascular screening — no referral or separate facility visit required.

On-Site Cardiology Testing

At Blue Water Primary Care, we bring essential cardiology testing directly to our Fort Gratiot office — saving you the time, cost, and inconvenience of traveling to a separate cardiac testing facility. Our on-site capabilities allow our providers to quickly evaluate your heart health and make timely, informed clinical decisions without delay.

On-site cardiology services include electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) testing, which records the electrical activity of your heart and can detect arrhythmias, signs of heart attack, and other cardiac abnormalities. We also perform cardiovascular risk screenings, which evaluate a combination of blood pressure, cholesterol levels, blood sugar, family history, and lifestyle factors to estimate your risk of future cardiac events.

These services are particularly valuable for patients with known cardiovascular risk factors — including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, or a family history of heart disease — as well as those experiencing symptoms such as chest discomfort, shortness of breath, palpitations, or unexplained fatigue.

Results are reviewed promptly by your provider, who will walk you through the findings in plain language and recommend next steps. When further evaluation is needed, we coordinate seamlessly with local cardiologists to ensure a smooth, connected care experience. Most insurance plans cover medically necessary cardiac testing.
