Women’s health encompasses far more than reproductive care — it is a lifelong commitment to physical wellness, hormonal balance, preventive screening, and holistic wellbeing. At Blue Water Primary Care, Dr. Sarah M. Collins, MD, leads our women’s health services with a dedication to ensuring every female patient feels genuinely heard, respected, and thoroughly cared for.
Our women’s health services cover a broad range of needs across all life stages. For younger women and adolescents, we provide routine well-woman exams, contraceptive counseling, menstrual health evaluation, and STI screening. For women in their reproductive years, we offer prenatal care coordination, fertility concerns evaluation, and management of conditions such as PCOS and endometriosis. For women approaching and experiencing menopause, we provide hormonal health assessment, symptom management, bone density evaluation, and cardiovascular risk reduction.
Every visit with our women’s health team includes a thoughtful, unhurried conversation about your concerns. We believe in shared decision-making — explaining your options clearly and working with you to choose the approach that best aligns with your values, lifestyle, and health goals.
Annual well-woman exams, Pap smears, breast exams, pelvic exams, and age-appropriate cancer screenings are all part of our preventive care offering. We also manage chronic conditions that disproportionately affect women — including thyroid disorders, autoimmune conditions, osteoporosis, and depression. Most insurance plans cover annual preventive women’s health visits at no out-of-pocket cost.
