Physical Exams

Thorough annual physical examinations for patients of all ages — evaluating your overall health and catching problems before they start.

Physical Exams

An annual physical exam is the cornerstone of preventive healthcare. At Blue Water Primary Care, our comprehensive physical examinations go far beyond a simple check-in — they are a detailed, head-to-toe health assessment designed to evaluate your current health status, identify any emerging concerns, and establish a personalized wellness plan for the year ahead.

During your physical, your provider will review your complete medical and family history, measure vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate, weight, and BMI, perform a thorough physical examination of all major organ systems, order appropriate lab work based on your age and risk factors, review and update your vaccination history, screen for common conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol, and certain cancers, and discuss any health concerns, symptoms, or lifestyle factors you want to address.

We offer physical exams for all ages — including annual wellness exams for adults and seniors, well-child visits for infants and children, sports physicals for student athletes, pre-employment physicals, DOT physicals, and school or camp physicals.

Physical exams are typically covered in full by most insurance plans as a preventive care benefit, meaning no out-of-pocket cost to you. We encourage all patients to schedule their annual exam even if they feel healthy — because the goal of a physical is not to treat illness, but to prevent it.
